Silicone seal provides an excellent facepiece seal, creating a barrier against contaminants. The silicone nose cup is soft and comfortable for all-day wear. The polycarbonate lens with a wide field of vision maximized peripheral visions plus a downward view; meets ANSI Z 87 for high impact. The wide viewing area provides distortion-free visibility and optical clarity.
The 5-point strap option includes a center strap to help position and hold the mask for a more secure fit; offers quick, easy adjustments. The industrial mesh head net option provides another choice for user comfort preference; it can be used under a hard hat. The threaded cartridge connector secures cartridges and filters to avoid accidental disconnections. This respirator can be adapted to side mount CF-SAR, front mount CF-SAR, side mount PAPR, and front mount PAPR, eliminating the need to fit test workers on several respirators.

With OSHA’s final ruling on crystalline silica now in full effect, contractors should consider limiting exposure with the use of respirators. Table 1 is a chart OSHA created to outline specified control methods. This Table matches common construction tasks with dust control methods, so employers know exactly what they need to do to limit worker exposures to silica. The dust control measures listed in the table include methods known to be effective, like using water to keep dust from getting into the air or using ventilation to capture dust. However, Table 1 explicitly states that for some operations respirators are required. All Honeywell respirators are OSHA-compliant.
